About this tour
We begin with a panoramic drive through some of the city's most remarkable viewpoints, surrounded by mountains, forests, and the Beagle Channel. Along the way, we will explore the history of those who inhabited and shaped this remote land: the Yaghan people, missionaries, adventurers, explorers, immigrants, and prisoners who arrived in this southern corner of South America.
As we travel through the city, we will discover how Ushuaia evolved from a small settlement in a remote territory into an important tourism destination and center of industry, earning its titles as “The Southernmost City in the World” and “Gateway to Antarctica.”
The tour concludes in one of Ushuaia's modern neighborhoods, where we will enjoy a tasting of Patagonian wines, accompanied by a selection of traditional Argentine cold cuts and cheeses.
