About this tour
A special experience to discover the wildlife of the Beagle Channel and visit Martillo Island, home to an important penguin colony where we can observe Magellanic and Gentoo penguins.
We depart from the port of Ushuaia and sail along the Beagle Channel, where we can observe local wildlife, including sea lions and cormorants.
During the journey, we visit the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and continue sailing towards Martillo Island, one of the highlights of this experience.
Upon reaching the island, the catamaran approaches and beaches on the shore, allowing passengers to observe the penguin colony from the vessel and from the shoreline, in a privileged natural setting.
Please note: This excursion does not include walking among the penguins or getting off the vessel to walk with them. The penguins are observed from the catamaran and from the beach area.
