About this tour
We travel east from Ushuaia to discover a different side of Tierra del Fuego, where mountain landscapes, pristine lakes, forests, historic ranches, and the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean come together.
The journey takes us through the Fuegian valleys and across the Fuegian Andes via Garibaldi Pass, with spectacular views of Escondido Lake and Fagnano Lake along the way.
We continue to Tolhuin, located in the heart of the island, before taking the route towards the Atlantic coast and the remote landscape of Cabo San Pablo.
Once at Cabo San Pablo, we follow a trail towards the picturesque Cabo San Pablo Lighthouse, located on a rocky promontory overlooking the ocean. From the coast, we can also see the remains of the legendary Desdémona, an old ship that ran aground and has become one of the icons of this remote corner of Tierra del Fuego.
The return journey takes us through the island's rural landscapes and traditional ranches, offering the opportunity to experience one of the least explored areas of Tierra del Fuego.
